Repainting the casa

In anticipation of visits to my house by my mom and by my friend Rusty (and various other visits), I decided to repaint my house at the end of August. You may have already seen pictures of my house, but here are some good before and after pictures to notice how much nicer my house looks now.

Unoccupied, old part of my house. Before.

Front door, inside. Before.

(Before, it looked about like the inside, before picture).

Bathroom. Before.

Bathroom. Doors painted, white base.

Main part of the patio. Before.

Main part of the patio. After. (notice the pain already peeling at the bottom...)

I hope you enjoyed the tour, feel free to come visit, or even buy. My estimate (not kidding) for the purchase of this house would be something under $5,000. So you could buy a used car or a house in the beautiful mountains of Ecuador...you decide.

I can attest first hand to what a great job Ryan did on "upgrading" his house. Actually - other than the shower part - which wasn't the worst thing in the world - I felt the most comfortable in him home - well maybe not quite as nice as our last night at the JW Marriott in Quito - but almost.

It was a wonderful trip!

Thanks for the adventure, Ryan - Love you - Mom (who else!)

Nice setup, friend. Actually, I think I would probably (read: in a heartbeat) trade my current living arrangement for yours. I just moved into a house in Vancouver, and...uh...it's not quite what I had in mind. I'm house-hunting (again) as we speak. Just wanted to say hello...hopefully I'll be able to keep better tabs on you now that I'm a Blogger.
Here's to worldwide adventures and quirky abodes!
